HISTORY

The Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Hearts Children's Home Inc. is a child-caring institution licensed and recognized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development - 1992. The orphanage was founded by Rudy and Annie Van Soelen the brother and sister in law of Loek Van Soelen.

Mr. Loek Van Soelen and Daisy Jacquelien Van Soelen were co founders of the Orphanage. The institution was Inaugurated in March 21, 1992.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Hearts Children's Home Inc. presently exist with the help of the generous people of Cebu, from abroad & the Congregation itself.

We always Trust in the Divine Providence, for more than three decades has sustained us to make this center a 'HAVEN OF HOPE' for the children entrusted to us.
